My Wonderful Dog utilizes a holistic, non-threatening approach to dog obedience. Only positive training methods are employed in my classes. My goal is to encourage pet owners in the use of the most up-to-date, humane, yet effective methods in dog training. I feel this can be accomplished through reward training. Reward training uses motivation to get results. So whether you are interested in some basic skills for your dog or fresh ideas on how to approach a behavioral problem My Wonderful Dog can help. The age of the dog doesn't matter- with patience and perseverance all dogs can be trained using cooperation not coercion.

"I am most impressed with Elsa's candid, hands-on approach in teaching me how to teach my puppy Mosley. She makes sure the dog owner understands the commands and when it is appropriate to reward behaviors and when to avoid reinforcing unwanted behavior. The tools she has given me to work with Mosley are simple things I can do on my own in just a few minutes per day focusing on positive reinforcement, and repetition."

"Elsa met with us in my home - and within the first session she gave me several very specific strategies to manage his behavior while we worked on training. She uses a positive reward based approach - and it really works - so much easier on everyone than a battle of wills."

"It is obvious that Elsa loves working with dogs and pours her heart and soul into training. She really cares about your dog and you. We recommend her to all of our dog friends."

"Your personalized training really made learning how to train our puppy so much easier. You made the training relate to the world Henry actually inhabits and taught us how to train him in a variety of different situations he encounters on a regular basis."

"We are enjoying Frieda so much. Elsa has been great. Step by step, Elsa has taught us new skills and helped us feel confident in our ability to train Frieda. For example, when Frieda first became part of our family, she literally "jumped" for joy when she greeted us or others. Elsa has taught us how to teach Frieda to calmly greet people. Elsa has taught us -- and Frieda-- so much. We look forward to Elsa coming over because we know we'll all be learning something new!"
